The Warren Blackwood Valley has the most
picturesque and
adventurous recreational trails!!

The
South West of Western Australia is well known for its natural beauty,
picturesque landscapes, tall trees, unique wildflowers and flowing
rivers. The Warren Blackwood area comprises of four
Shires: Nannup, Manjimup, Boyup Brook and Bridgetown - Greenbushes.
This
area has many natural and historic attractions. The Warren Blackwood is
located 3 to 4 hours drive south of Perth. There are many amazing ways
to explore this area: try bush walking, canoeing, horse riding or
mountain biking.
Bush Walking
The Warren Blackwood
Region has a multitude of walks. Bush walking
is a fantastic way to explore the beautiful surroundings.
There are endless opportunities to meander along lush green river banks
and between tall Karri trees. Bush walking or hiking is an
all year
round activity.
In July/August the
rivers and waterfalls are at their peak. In
Spring the wildflowers bring colour and excitement to the undergrowth.
Wildlife can be
observed all year
around. Depending on where you go, the scenery can range from
dense
forest, to ocean cliffs, to grass plains.
They also range from short and easy walks (including many that can be
accessed by people with disabilities) right through to steep
climbs on rocky hills.
